To be honest, this weight is obviously solid, but there are some game changers such as your body weight, your form, your rep count, and your level. So we need to know this information to make a fair assessment. However, if you lifted a 50kg/110lbs dumbbell for each arm, I guarantee that you are not average.
I will ask you some questions, promise me you will answer them honestly. At the end of the article, I will put a chart you can look at to see whether you are strong or not.
What Is Your Body Weight?
We are sure that it’s not the same for someone who weighs 70 kilograms to lift this as it is for someone who weighs 110 kilograms. But it is true that if you are at a professional/elite level, your power level doesn’t change dramatically between your 80 kg and 110 kg form. Also, your height is key, but I will make the assessment according to athletes between 175–185 cm.
How Is Your Exercise Form?
There have been big changes in fitness literature over the last 10 years. I’ve watched some bodybuilders who lift 50 kg or more on the incline dumbbell press, and most of them were old videos. So their form isn’t considered proper today. There are two videos below to help you check whether your form is correct.
Proper/True Form of Incline Dumbell Press
Wrong/False Form of Incline Dumbell Press
What Is Your Gym Level?
If you did it in your first year, it’s much more impressive than doing it in your third year. Nevertheless, it doesn’t change the fact that it’s still a solid lift.
What Is Your Rep Count?
I don’t have much to say about this, but you should know that the difference between 1 rep and 10 reps is substantial.
Are You Really Strong?
This chart is a general conclusion. There are many factors that affect your lifting weights. These are my general opinions based on my 5 years of bodybuilding experience.
| Body Weight | Rep Count | Power Level |
| 80kg or less | 1 | Impressive |
| 80kg or less | 3-4 | Master |

| 80-100 kg | 3-4 | Professional |

| 100+ kg | 1 | Better than avarage |
| 100+ kg | 3-4 | Solid Power |
